TRANSPARENT & ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNMENT

Making city information clear and easy to access, promoting open and competitive bidding, strengthening resident oversight, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly.

PUBLIC SAFETY

Supporting first responders, strengthening emergency preparedness and crisis response, improving coordination among public safety partners, and keeping San Gabriel’s residents, businesses, and neighborhoods safe.

QUALITY OF LIFE

Improving infrastructure, protecting parks and public spaces, maintaining clean and welcoming neighborhoods, and strengthening programs for seniors, families, and young people.

SMALL BUSINESSES AND WORKING FAMILIES

Creating a one-stop resource hub to make city services easier to access, support local businesses and working families, and improve communication with City Hall.

Some commercial and multi-family accounts could see trash costs increase by close to 60%. When long-term public service contracts affect residents and local businesses, the community deserves transparency, accountability, and a meaningful voice.

10.5% SALES TAX — WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING?
San Gabriel’s current sales tax rate is 10.5%. Taxpayers deserve to know how revenue is spent, where it goes, and what visible, measurable results it delivers for our community.

PROTECTING THE MISSION PLAYHOUSE
Mission Playhouse is part of San Gabriel’s history, culture, and civic identity. Major investments should come with transparent planning, responsible spending, and progress residents can clearly track.

A REAL VOICE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION
Our young people deserve a stronger and more direct voice in local government. Wendy supports establishing a Youth Commission to encourage civic participation, leadership development, and meaningful representation.

MAKING CITY HALL EASIER FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
Local entrepreneurs should spend more time growing their businesses—not navigating confusing city processes. Wendy supports a one-stop business support system for permits, licensing, city requirements, and local resources.
