These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the text messaging program operated by Wendy Wang for San Gabriel City Council 2026 (“the Committee,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By voluntarily opting in to receive text messages from the Committee, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Merely visiting our website, providing an email address, submitting a volunteer form, or contacting the Committee does not automatically enroll you in the text messaging program.

1. Text Messaging Program

Individuals who voluntarily opt in may receive recurring text messages from Wendy Wang for San Gabriel City Council 2026, including:

• Campaign updates

• Event announcements and reminders

• Volunteer opportunities

• Community and voter outreach

• Election-related information and reminders

• Other communications concerning the Committee’s campaign activities

2. Consent to Receive Text Messages

Consent to receive text messages must be provided separately and affirmatively through an unchecked opt-in box or another clearly disclosed consent method.

Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of making a contribution, volunteering, attending an event, receiving information, or otherwise supporting the Committee.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

Your consent applies only to messages from Wendy Wang for San Gabriel City Council 2026. Consent is not transferable to any other candidate, campaign committee, organization, business, affiliate, or third party.

3. Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Your wireless carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply to messages sent or received under this program. Please contact your wireless carrier for information regarding your mobile service plan.

4. How to Opt Out or Request Help

You may unsubscribe at any time by replying STOP to a text message from the Committee.

After replying STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional campaign text messages unless you voluntarily opt in again.

5. Privacy and Mobile Information

Mobile information—including mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, and text messaging opt-in data—will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Authorized service providers may process mobile information only as necessary to operate the Committee’s text messaging program, deliver messages on the Committee’s behalf, maintain consent records, and honor opt-out requests. These service providers are not authorized to use mobile information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

6. Message Delivery

Text message delivery is subject to wireless carrier services, network availability, device compatibility, and other circumstances outside the Committee’s control. The Committee cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered without delay or interruption.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our messaging practices, services, technology, or legal requirements. Any revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Changes to these Terms will not transfer or expand your text messaging consent to another candidate, committee, organization, business, affiliate, or third party.
