ABOUT
WENDY WANG
Rooted in Community. Focused on People. Ready to Lead
A Life Built on Service, Family, and Community.
Wendy Wang has called San Gabriel home for nearly 23 years. She came to the United States at age six, was raised by a hardworking single mother, and grew up in the San Gabriel community. Wendy attended local public schools, including McKinley Elementary School, Jefferson Middle School, and Gabrielino High School. She was also an athlete for 8 years, playing competitive Basketball and competing in the Shot Put. These formative years gave her a deep and lasting connection to San Gabriel’s families, schools, neighborhoods, and small businesses.
For eight years, Wendy has served seniors, people with disabilities, and their families as a caregiver through the Los Angeles County In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program. As a proud SEIU Local 2015 member, she understands firsthand the challenges facing caregivers, seniors, working families, and residents living on fixed incomes.
As a businesswoman, nonprofit executive and board member, and community and youth advocate, Wendy has worked to connect residents, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and public resources. She is running for San Gabriel City Council to bring transparent, accountable, and resident-centered leadership to City Hall—and to turn community needs into visible, measurable action.

Stand With Me & Support Service to Our Community
Together, Our commitment to San Gabriel is shaped by years of caregiving, community service, and hands-on work with neighbors, families, and local businesses — serving residents across our diverse community.
Together, we are focused on four key priorities: transparent and accountable government, public safety, quality of life, and support for small businesses and working families. By strengthening infrastructure, maintaining our neighborhoods and public spaces, and investing in youth and the next generation, we can build a San Gabriel that is safer, stronger, well-maintained, and truly works for our entire community.
This campaign is about turning care and commitment into results — through listening, service, and showing up for the community.
Every vote and every contribution matters.
